چکیده
Abstract We calculate photon sphere and critical curve $b_c$?> for a quantum corrected Schwarzschild black hole, finding that they violate universal inequalities proved asymptotically flat holes satisfy the null energy condition in framework of Einstein gravity. This violation seems to be common phenomenon when considering modification Furthermore, we study shadows, lensing rings, rings hole. Relativistic Dyson Rings and Their Black Hole Limit
In this Letter, we investigate uniformly rotating, homogeneous, and axisymmetric relativistic fluid bodies with a toroidal shape. The corresponding field equations are solved by means of a multidomain spectral method, which yields highly accurate numerical solutions. For a prescribed, sufficiently large ratio of inner to outer coordinate radius, the toroids exhibit a continuous transition to th...
متن کاملAttractors and Black Rings
The attractor mechanism is usually thought of as the fixing of the near horizon moduli of a BPS black hole in terms of conserved charges measured at infinity. Recent progress in understanding BPS solutions in five dimensions indicates that this is an incomplete story. Moduli can instead be fixed in terms of dipole charges, and their corresponding values can be found by extremizing a certain att...
متن کاملBlack Hole Search in Asynchronous Rings Using Tokens
A black hole is a highly harmful host that disposes of visiting agents upon their arrival. It is known that it is possible for a team of mobile agents to locate a black hole in an asynchronous ring network if each node is equipped with a whiteboard of at least O(log n) dedicated bits of storage. In this paper, we consider the less powerful token model: each agent has has available a bounded num...
متن کاملTime Optimal Algorithms for Black Hole Search in Rings
In a network environment supporting mobile entities (called robots or agents), a black hole is a harmful site that destroys any incoming entity without leaving any visible trace. The black-hole search problem is the task of a team of k > 1 mobile entities, starting from the same safe location and executing the same algorithm, to determine within finite time the location of the black hole. In th...
متن کاملElectron and hole wave functions in self-assembled quantum rings
We use a plane-wave technique to study the electron and hole wave functions in self-assembled InGaAs quantum rings, investigating the influence on the electron-hole overlap of variations in the ring shape and composition profiles, and including the effects of built-in strain and the piezoelectric potential. Lateral variation of the ground-state electron and hole wave functions in a perfect ring...
